With all this nice weather, construction on the new penguin exhibit is moving along smoothly. The Bait Shack, which is where guests will be able to purchase pre-packgaged food and drinks, has a roof and walls and looks almost complete from the outside. The penguin holding building has new bright, red windows, and the roof is being completed as well. As for the Penguin Interpretive Center, workers are putting together the underwater portion of the exhibit, including the hugs windows so we can see the penguins swimming. The Whiting Turner construction team has been working hard to make a new home for the penguins and fall will be here before you know it.
